Project Access – This program, created by the Kent County Medical Society and Kent County Osteopathic Association in 2004, assists uninsured, low-income patients in obtaining temporary medical care. The staff work to educate patients and physician offices on community resources and “wrap around” services to help physicians better serve these patients. A grant will provide for more exposure to the Project Access Community Navigation program to increase patient recruitment, education and build awareness.
